AGE-IN-PLACE DC SENIOR SERVICES PROJECT

was established at NICBC in May 2024 under the leadership of Sis. Rosetta Davis who served as the original Ambassador.  In July 2025, Sis. Mesha Moody-Pratt was appointed by Pastor Greenfield as the new Ambassador.

The Mission/Purpose is to Help Seniors Age-In Place and Community.  The end goal of the Project is to better ensure seniors in communities of color have access to senior village-type services.  We also plan to implement social gatherings, out of town trips, attend DC events and the end-of-the-year event, and much more.

The Project is designed for DC residents ages 60 and over; however, all members of NICBC (regardless of where you live) and residents of the Robert L. Walker House can benefit.

Please note: Most resources provided will be for DC residents.

You don't want to miss the excitement!
